I’m starting this blog entry as a holding place for all the great things I hear commentators say during the Olympics. No sporting event brings out the motion, melodrama, and sheer lunacy from sportscasters better than the Olympics. And so it begins:

• February 14th (while watching Nordic Combined) — “If only you knew what impact the wax technicians have on this sport”. Two comments:
  1. Wax technicians — heheheheh
  2. I’m watching nordic combined?
• February 14th (while watching Bob Costas) — “It’s Valentines Day. What do you think the figure skating pairs are doing?” Clearly they’re going to party before they hit the ice Bob.
